16th Annual HCBC Alumni Weekend

It's fun. I promise. Get to reconnect with the ol' peeps, you know what I'm saying? No you don't, but it doesn't matter. Ya'll can room together like the good old days except you get to be that annoying group in the dinning hall...and make the mess in the chapel...and get chased by Judie...yeah. Bring your parents along, they'll appreciate the speaking. Saturday night will have a talent show, free ice cream, and a coffee house (featuring Kim and myself as your musical entertainment). And for those of you who don't know Fred is leaving--he is. But he'll be there that weekend so SHOW UP, dang it. Read up, educate yourself, and be there...

An 11-hour shift? You betcha. Gene never showed, Kenny disappeared at 6:30, so SOMEBODY had to do the trash. And when I say "do the trash" I don't mean doing it with a dinky Bible conference compactor, no. Industrial strength, me manly's! This baby is 15 feet high. Yeah. Lucky, trash with you would be...not the same. All of this is worthwhile however when you deposit an $825 paycheck. Uh huh uh huh uh huh.

And now, a parting comment by Steve-o (co-worker):

"I can't believe I'm carrying $500 in my pocket. I just dare anyone to try and mug me right now. You know how hard I worked for this money?! I'll slit your throat with a penny! You're not even worth a quarter!"
